Eric the Destroyer

Well, maybe he is Eric the "I feel comfortable wearing whatever I like" with a grrrr sound after. Eric really is all boy! He HAS to have the blue cup, the blue plate, the blue utensils, the blue football, and loves to play ball, swords, a hard game of tag (ouch!), touchdown over the exercise ball (see video a few posts ago) and of course make manly sounds. However, Eric has two older sisters and frankly he doesn't mind going naynay (naked) or wearing "girl only" things much to the chagrin of his father.
Below is Erin and Eric, my two peas in a pod!
And yes, that is the ONLY thing Eric has on.
Only Eric could look so manly in pink.
And on this day I uttered the words, "Eric! Don't pee pee in your tutu."

If you look closely at his feet you can see that he is wearing my heels.
That would be Jessica Simpson animal print heels!

Naked in rain boots.
Need I say more?????

Hanging With Daddy

Just waiting for dinner and eating vegetables. The kids thought they were cool because they got to sit on the counter like daddy. They insisted I take their picture.
I know this is a rather boring blog but it really is just an opportunity to share more pictures with family and friends.

Kansas Corn

The only hesitation I have about sharing this picture is that it shows my lack of using the edger on the lawn. However, it does show wild Kansas corn growing in the fence behind the play set.
Here is the close up.

Emma Doing Jumping Jacks

Despite Emma's first traumatic day of PE she really enjoys "gym time". She came home yesterday talking about jumping jacks and I had her demonstrate them to me. I immediately had to grab the video camera....enjoy. By the way I have been reassured by Sherri that Emma's coordination is on par with other children her age.

Prepping For His Future

Eric loves his footballs! He really likes it when daddy plays football/catch/tackle with him. This video is Josh prepping Eric to make the diving touchdown.

Erin's First Day of Preschool

Erin started Preschool today. This is the same place she went last year with Emma so it didn't carry the newness jitters that kindergarten will bring. Nonetheless she was happy to start up again and Eric wasn't happy that he had to leave "sissy" at school. These two really are two peas from the same pod!
