St. Patrick's Day Parade

It was a beautiful March Saturday and time for the annual Aggieville St. Patrick's Day Parade. I must admit that the parade has gotten much better since the last time that I went, which was back with Stacy, Daimon and Drake McNew. We had to park a few blocks away but that was a great opportunity to let the munchkins run off some energy before the parade.
Here they are racing to get to the parade.

Waiting for the parade to begin.
We got a good spot to watch the parade, sitting on the curb and within candy reach.

Gathering up candy.

We love parades!!

Of course getting more candy in one hour then they get in weeks is a bonus for the kids.
By the end of the parade we were playing, "How many colors of candy are on Eric's face?"

We are looking forward to next year's parade.

So fun! You guys do more neat things as a family and I love hearing about it. Did anyone get an upset tummy from the candy consumption? (-:

They sure do know how to put on parades in Manhattan. The children look like they had a great time, it could be the anticipation of getting all that candy. Love the pictures, keep them coming.
