Playing in the mud

When we arrived home from our last trip, Chicago for Justin and Katlyn's wedding, the children were thrilled to be playing in their backyard again. It rained while they were sleeping which meant mud pits under the swings! I figured that they needed a bath anyways so I let them have a great time!

The were just about to chase me through the yard...it helps that I am a "bit" over dramatic so that makes it more fun to chase mommy.

Justin and Katlyn's Wedding

The weekend of July 24 - 26 we went to Illinois for Justin and Katlyn's wedding. We arrived and were immediately off to ballroom dance lessons with Justin, Katlyn, Jessica, Sam, Bekah and Derick. It was fun and our instructor was a hoot!!!!

Friday after the rehearsal, we had dinner at a wonderful Greek restaurant in St. Charles.

Wedding day! We had a nice ladies breakfast and then off to set up for the wedding. The girls and I then arrived early to the wedding so that I could take pre-wedding pictures.

Eric looked so cute in his suit and of course his thumb in his mouth. We were even able to get a family picture taken!

The ceremony and reception were at the same place at a lovely place called The Fisherman's Inn. They had several great locations for pictures.

Golf Buddies

Last weekend we were in the Chicago Area for Justin and Katlyn's wedding (I have tons of pictures to post) but we got the cutest picture of Eric with his cousin Daniel. Josh thinks that they look like golf buddies and now that is the name of this picture.

June 10th - Daddy home from NTC

This has been a very busy year for Josh and continues to be. So, when we had a chance to watch his plane land after a month long stint at NTC, we took it! It was nice that the plane was landing at Manhattan Regional Airport. It was nice that Josh actually got to wave to us (see the last picture) and it was nice that the rain held off until just after we got into the car.
